Pilot Episode Update

As the pilot episode of Uni-Form is under way, we thought it was about time we updated you on our progress..: As you may know, our pilot episode features half an hour of animation, showing what a typical episode of Uni-Form would look like if it were commissioned as a televised comedy series. We're really happy with how everything is taking shape now and are growing more and more optimistic about the future of Uni-Form each day.
It's probably worth pointing out that all of us working on the pilot are doing so completely voluntarily, and the only funds we have available to us are spare time...! The voices were recorded using microphones that were pre-owned by the team and all the animation is done digitally on one home computer. As you can imagine, this is very time consuming and is the only reason the pilot is expected to take one year to make.
We're intending to have the pilot episode ready early 2011. So, where do we go from here? Well obviously our first move will be to get in touch with broadcasters and make the pilot available to anyone that may be interested in picking it up for broadcast. To help push the prospect of a comedy series even further, We've already got a series outline planned and are also drafting scripts for other episodes in the series.

All in all, the future of Uni-Form is looking very promising. The script for the pilot, and other episodes, are lying down a good premise for a new animated British sitcom and the HD animation is looking as good as we could ever have hoped.
